Texarkana Funeral Home has been a cornerstone of the community since 1939, when Howard Fuqua and Harry L. Everett first opened our doors at 6th and Main Streets amidst the hustle and bustle of downtown. From those early days, our staff worked tirelessly to build a reputation anchored in deep trust and compassionate guidance. As more and more neighbors turned to us in their times of need, we outgrew our original downtown home and, in December 1966, opened our spacious, larger facility on Texas Boulevard. It was here that the Fuqua and Everett families, alongside dedicated team members like Thomas H. Fuqua Jr. and Robert D. Cowley Jr., cemented our path to becoming the largest and most trusted funeral home in the Four States Region.

Today, our Texas Boulevard location proudly carries forward that multi-generational legacy of providing sound advice and caring service. As a locally owned fixture of the community, we offer families seamless, comprehensive care through our close affiliation with Hillcrest Memorial Park—the area's oldest and most prominent perpetual care cemetery—and the on-site Hillcrest Crematory.
