At the age of 100 years, Yvonne Davis went to be with the Lord on May 10, 2026, in Fresno, California.  She was born on October 9, 1925, in Idabel, Oklahoma to the late Faye and Joseph Spears.

Yvonne was a homemaker and a woman of many passions. She enjoyed cooking, reading recipe books, sewing, tending to her garden of roses, and took pride in preserving the gifts harvested from her and her husband Andrew's (aka Charlie) garden. Her love of animals, especially her pets, was another of her great joys along with music and dancing (Jitterbug!) which kept her young in heart, body, and soul. She delighted in studying her Bible and discussing it with others in her endeavor to know Jesus.

She always made you feel welcome and at home where she thoroughly enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. Above all, the one thing that stood out was that family meant everything. She was cherished by all who knew and loved her and will be dearly missed.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her brother Leonard Spears, her husband Andrew, her daughter Kimberly, and grandson Wesley.

She is survived by her daughter Andrea Combs and husband William (Joe) of Fresno, California… and son Robert Davis and wife Julie of West Point, Utah.

Grandchildren: Jill Anderson Craig and Tony, Mark Anderson, Lynsey Combs Bhatt and Vivek, Zak Davis and Jennifer, Heather Hess and Jon, Stacy Evans and Jeff, Kristine Lee and Kerry, Michelle Weight and Kevin, Jayson Wardlow, Brandon Wardlow, and Angela Johnson and Nathan.

There are also many cherished great grandchildren AND great-great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas on Wednesday  May 20, 2026 from 6:00 to 7:30 P. M.

Graveside services will be 11:00 A. M. on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at Sylverino Cemetery with Frank McFerrin officiating.
