William Allen Oswald Jr.(Allen), age 83, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Tuesday, August 4, 2026.

Mr. Oswald was born January 18, 1943 in Texarkana, Arkansas and was a retired electrical worker.

He served at the Salvation Army in Texarkana, loved to stay at his place at Yarbrough Landing, fish, help people, loved to play with his great grandchildren and was a jokester.

He was preceded in death by his wife Sue Oswald; parents, William Allen Sr. Oswald Sr. and Thelma Durham; brother, Gary Oswald  and sister, Sue Hines.

He is survived by his children, William Oswald III. and wife Gail of Texarkana, Annette and Joey Cook of Texarkana and Robin and Jan Oswald of DeQueen;  brother, Rodger and Janet Oswald of Texarkana; grandchildren, John and Sonya Oswald, Ellen Oswald, Amanda Patterson, Bryan Cook, Michael Oswald, Cory Wilson, Patrick Hanson and Destiny Wilson, great grandchildren, Caleb Oswald, Samantha Patterson and Jase Patterson and a host of nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.

A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2026 from 2:00 – 3:00 P.M.at Unity Baptist Church 2711 Texas Blvd, Texarkana, Texas 75503.
