Tyler Ashley, 36, of Texarkana, AR, passed away while at work on the morning of March 17, 2025, leaving behind a family who loved him deeply. He was a devoted father to his twin boys, Dodson Hodge and Wyatt Rivers, who were the greatest joy of his life.

Tyler was a free spirit, always moving to the beat of his own drum. Born on February 17, 1989 in Texarkana, TX, he grew up with a deep love for adventure, history, and the simple things in life. He spent his days working as a driver for River Valley Tractor.  His hobbies were collecting arrowheads and pottery—treasures that connected him to the past and fueled his curiosity.

What made Tyler truly unique was his heart, his humor, but mostly his ability to genuinely make you feel special. He would drop anything to help someone in need, never expecting anything in return. His kindness, generosity and determination to make others laugh left a mark on everyone who knew him. Tyler was a member of Westlawn Missionary Baptist Church and was baptized with his mom on June 11, 1999.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather Keith Durrett.  He is survived by his beloved twin boys; his parents, Jeff Ashley (Cindee Bowen), Lauree Tyson (Wade), his step-father Art Romero; his siblings, Taryn Ashley Brown (Colton), Ryan and Sean Romero, and Brooke Bowen, and his niece, Taylin Brown.  He leaves behind his grandparents, Robert and Lydia Ashley, Wendell and Vicki Boozer and Cheryl Durrett.  He is also survived by his aunts, Amy McCollum and Lisa Gardner (Allen) and uncle, Stuart Boozer (Ruby) and his cousin, Cody Satterfield, who was more like a brother to him.  Countless other cousins, family and friends will forever cherish his memory.

The family will receive friends at Texarkana Funeral Home - Arkansas 4801 Parkway Drive, Texarkana, Arkansas 71854, on Friday, March 28, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.

A service to celebrate Tyler's life will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Northern Hills Baptist Church, 6000 Sammy Lane, Texarkana, Arkansas 71854. Burial will be at Rondo Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has set up an account in Tyler's honor for his twin boys to support their future.  Contributions may be made to Lauree Tyson - Tyler Ashley Memorial at Guaranty Bank & Trust in his honor.
