Timothy Dawson Nolte, age 68, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2026. He was born July 25, 1957, in Texarkana, Arkansas, to his parents Ileeda and Charlie Nolte. He was a member of the Fouke community for 68 years.

Tim will be remembered as a man who loved to hunt and fish.  He loved boats, motorcycles, and anything else with a motor — especially if it was loud. He was a handyman who was always tinkering and could fix almost anything. Tim was legendarily stubborn and always did things his own way.

Overalls, comfortable shoes, and a hat were his usual attire. He believed Kubota made the finest equipment on earth, drank enough Folgers coffee to keep the company running, and somehow made time to talk to his chickens every day. He loved watching The Price is Right and John Wayne movies. His appearance was simple, his demeanor gruff, and his handshake firm, but beneath it all was a man with a huge heart who loved his family and friends fiercely.

He never met a stranger and would help anyone without expecting payment in return. He raised not only his own boys, but countless others who needed guidance, friendship, or a place to belong.

He deeply loved his mama and was especially close to his sister, Suzy. Richard Nolte holds the great honor and privilege of being his son.

He is preceded in death by his son, Chad Nolte; parents Charlie and Ileeda Nolte; and three sisters: Shirey Stewart, Peggy Webb, and Suzette Nolte.

His legacy will be remembered by his son and daughter, Richard and Kari Nolte of Fouke, Arkansas; one sister, Gina and husband Donnie Sutton of Texarkana, Texas; two brothers, Chuck and wife Connie Nolte of Glen Rose, Texas, and Jesse Nolte of Texarkana, Arkansas; three grandchildren- Jaxson and wife Karsen Dastillon, Arianna Dastillon, and Bailey Elkins; two great-granddaughters: Riley Dastillon and Tatym Elkins; beloved friends, Docia Nolte, and Mike and Cynthia Halter; and his chosen sons: Will Plemmons, Jason (Tiny) Anthony, Ronnie Pickett, and Mitchel Hill; and a host of other family and friends.

Family and friends will be received at the home of Richard and Kari Nolte in Fouke, Arkansas.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, starting at 6 PM at Texarkana Arkansas Funeral Home.
