Thomas Edward Price, age 88, of Texarkana, Texas, passed away on April 16, 2026. He was born in Texarkana, Arkansas on January 17, 1938, to Sara and Raymond Price.

After serving two years in the Unites States Army, he spent his working days doing a little bit of everything. He owned and managed restaurants and after selling the Catfish King in New Boston, he went on to own cattle.

In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his great-grandchildren, working hard and helping anyone who was in need. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. His family would describe him as Sweet Papaw, "a man's man", a very kind and caring soul, and one of the friendliest people that everyone knew as Mr. Tom.

Thomas was preceded in death by both of his parents; his wife, Juanita Price; two children, Pennie Price and Steven Price; three brothers and two sisters.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Jeff Price and wife Jackie; six grandchildren, Keith Beason and wife Melissa, Price Eubanks, Johnathan Citty, Jenna Gerrald and husband John, Sara Shumake and husband Brody, and Katie Price; eight great-grandchildren, Micah, Mila, Matilda, Miles, Amelia, Mason, Aria and Sawyer.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at Rock Springs Cemetery with Brother Jaimie Alexander officiating.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. at Texarkana Funeral Home – Texas Blvd.
