Scott Prewitt, age 53, of Texarkana, Texas, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Christus St. Michael Hospital. He was born on December 12, 1971, in Paris, Texas, to Howard Prewitt and Frances Whisenhunt.

Mr. Prewitt spent his working days as a chef. In his free time he enjoyed coaching soccer, binging TV shows, deep conversations, and solving the mysteries of the universe. His family described him as a funny, intelligent, and curious person. He was a wonderful and loving father, son, brother, uncle, and friend.

He is survived by daughter Bailey Prewitt of Texarkana, Texas; mother Frances Whisenhunt and husband Jim of Hooks, Texas; brothers Jonathan Whisenhunt and wife Chelsea of Austin, Texas, Gregory Prewitt and wife Linda of Hooks, Texas, Christopher Prewitt and wife Cheri of North Richland Hills, Texas; nephew Kristopher Prewitt of Dallas, Texas; niece Miranda Prewitt of Dallas, Texas, Erin Prewitt of North Richland Hills, Texas; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 7, 2025, at Chapelwood Funeral Home. Visitation will held an hour prior to the service. Interment will be at New Haven Cemetery in Clarksville, Texas at 2:00 PM on Monday, April 7, 2025.
