Richard "Ricky" Allen Reel, age 67, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026.

Ricky was born on March 5, 1959, and retired from Cooper Tire & Rubber Company.

Ricky loved the outdoors. Whether he was hunting, fishing, tinkering in his shop, or simply cutting the yard, he enjoyed staying busy outside. Known to many of his closest friends as "Skinner," he was honest to the core. If you asked Ricky a question, you better be ready for the answer. He was a loving husband, dad, and Pawpaw, a devoted friend and brother-in-law, and if Ricky was your friend, he was your friend to the very end.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Sims Reel of Texarkana; daughter and son-in-law, Mandy and Josh Davis of Texarkana; son and daughter-in-law, Ashley and Madison Reel of Texarkana; three grandchildren, Lora Davis, Evan Reel, and Malachi Reel; and a host of relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, May 12, 2026, from 6:00–8:00 PM at Texarkana Funeral Home - Arkansas.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, in the chapel of Texarkana Funeral Home - Arkansas with Bro. Wallace Edgar and Bro. Doug Knight officiating the service.

Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
