Rhonda Jean Hunter, 58, of Texarkana, Texas, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025, at her home. She was born February 18, 1967, to Doris Jean and C. A. Hunter.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Maudie Lucille Batson and Gatha Eugene Batson; her paternal grandparents, Wilma Elizabeth Doan and Clyde Wilson Hunter; her stepfather, Casey Don Roberts; and step-grandparents Nita Lee and Daniel Curtis Roberts.

Besides her love of family, animals, dance and all things sparkly, Rhonda was both an accomplished photographer and make-up artist. She put both these skills to use while employed for several years by Glamour Shots in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was also a front desk clerk in the hospitality industry, both in Las Vegas, Nevada, and in Texarkana, Texas. Rhonda was the 5'1" bulldog that was sent whenever there was a problem guest and was fondly given the nickname "The Enforcer". For the past 14 years, she was employed by the City of Texarkana, Texas where she held the title of Deputy Registrar and worked in the vital statistics office of the City Hall.

Left to cherish her memory are both of her parents, Doris Jean Roberts, C. A. Hunter and partner Sherry Schulte; her brother, Christopher Allan Hunter and partner Stacy Pack; two nieces, Alexis Nicole Hunter and Katelyn Elizabeth Hunter; Rhonda's partner, Eric Gregory Danielson; her step grandmother Wanda Batson; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; and friends that she loved dearly.
