Paul Vecence Marchetta, age 69, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2026. He was born on April 28, 1957, in New Orleans, Louisiana to his parents, Lewis Marchetta and Lois Paretti.

He was a proud United States Army Veteran. After his retirement from the Army, he worked various jobs such as working in shipyards and nursing homes in Louisiana. He was a Christian by faith and attended Oasis Life Church. He loved to spend his free time reading the Bible. He was a very funny and caring man, who loved to spoil his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He survived his siblings, Dominic Marchetta, Bonnie Alice, Dellanne Marchetta, Jude Marchetta Sr., and his wife, Mary; nephews, Jude Michael Marchetta Jr., Keith Marchetta, Curtis Marchetta; niece, Robin Marchetta Mortara and husband Bruce; great nieces and nephews, Rene Marchetta, Jasmine Mortara, Bruce Mortara Jr., Ariel Mortara, Kirsten Cosme and husband Steve, Allison Durham, Bethany Durham, Emily Durham, Rebecca Marchetta, and Everette Marchetta; sister-in-law, Cathy and Ray Donald Click, and special friends, Sal Garofalo and Vincent Lori.

Cremation arrangements are under the care of Texarkana Funeral Home – Texas.
