Morris D. Aaron, age 90, of Doddridge, Arkansas passed away April 28, 2026 at his home.

Mr. Aaron was born October 15, 1935 in Texarkana, Arkansas to Arlie and Edna Aaron.

He dedicated many years of service to Texarkana Water Utilities where he retired as Operations Manager. Outside of work, his true passions were found in farming and ranching. He also loved local dirt track racing as well as NASCAR.

Those who knew him best often said "He just doesn't do things like everybody else" and that statement could not have been more true. He lived life on his own terms with a strong will and spirit that was entirely his own. Whether you agreed with him or not, you always knew exactly where he stood and that is something to be respected.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepmother, Mildred Aaron, his wife of fifty-eight years, Ann Aaron, one brother-in-law, James Rayburn and brother, Wesley Aaron.

He is survived by his children and their spouses, Mark and Julie Aaron, Kevin and Sandie Godwin, Dennis and Rachal Alexander, Danny and Doreen Alexander and Debra McCord; grandchildren, Brittany Pate, Amanda Wood, Jennifer Watkins, Morris David Aaron, Forrest McCord, Jordan Prichard, Trey Hoffart, Clay Alexander, Laura and Keaton Alexander and nine great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Dan Jones officiating. Burial is under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 prior to the service.
