Mirlene Gill, 88, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2025, in Texarkana, Texas. Born on January 21, 1937, in Bobcaw, Arkansas to Mr. & Mrs. Larkin Campbell. She lived a full and vibrant life marked by devotion to her family, a love of travel and entertainment, and a generous spirit that touched many. A dedicated homemaker throughout her life, Mirlene created a warm and welcoming home where laughter and love were always abundant.

She had an adventurous heart and found great joy in exploring the world aboard cruise ships. Whether sailing the seas or playing a lively game of bingo, she embraced each moment with enthusiasm. Her fondness for The Game Network was well known among those close to her—she rarely missed an opportunity to enjoy her favorite shows. Mirlene was also a proud member of the Elks Club and was known for her compassionate nature. She had a soft spot for animals and could never turn down a stray in need of care or companionship. Her kindness extended beyond her home as she welcomed others with open arms and delighted in entertaining guests.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Foy Gill, and her son Raymond Gill. Her memory lives on through her children: Charles & Libby Gill, John & Patricia Todd, Joe & Cindy Gill, David Gill, Kenneth & Mary Gill, and John & Christina Snyder. She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren who will carry forward her legacy of warmth and generosity.

She's a Baptist. A funeral service honoring Mirlene's life will be held on May 24, 2025, from 04:00 PM to 05:00 PM at Memorial Gardens 5200 East Broad St., Texarkana, Arkansas. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 4:00 pm in Memorial Gardens, Texarkana, Arkansas.
