Michelle Renee McInturff, aged 56 years, of Wake Village, Texas passed away peacefully on March 13th, 2025 after an eight year long courageous battle against cancer.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Austin and Rachel Bennett (Grandsons: Colter and Obie), Loren and Jaime Sanchez (granddaughter Evelyn), Parents Mike and Kathleen McInturff, sister Casey and Jason Gowers. (Nephews and nieces Carter, Noelle, William, Athena), favorite Aunt Darby and Uncle Jim Gilliam, sunshine Zoie, precious cat Toddy, along with numerous cousins.

Her greatest joy in life was being a Mom to her children and Grams to her grandchildren.

She had the best tight-knit group of friends, Cristi Hicks, Robin Christen, Brenda Alexander, Samantha Rogers, Amy Warren, Rhonda Cartwright, Carolyn Terry, and Carla Kyles. Never one to turn down an adventure or a road trip, she visited California, Washington, Indiana, and many more. You could always find her on a beach or on a cruise, and even skydiving.

She loved Art, Dancing, Nature Photography, and every genre of music (NOT Elvis.) Never one to meet a stranger, she was a nurse for 20 years.

She is preceded in death by two angel babies, Philomena Diana Sanchez and Ophelia Rose Bennett.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 4505 Elizabeth St., Texarkana, TX., with Rev. Fr. Justin Braun officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 - 7:00 pm, with the rosary being prayed at 6:00 pm. at Texarkana Funeral Home - Texas.
