Michael David Rivers, age 40, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. He was born on May 21, 1986, in Texarkana, Texas, to David and Merrie Rivers.

Michael was a fun-loving man with a free spirit and a heart full of music. He had a passion for motorcycles. He worked at the Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Shop in Texarkana, where he was able to be around something he truly loved. Whether he was riding his motorcycle, playing his guitar, or singing a song, Michael had a way of enjoying life and making memories along the way.

Michael attended Church on the Rock in Texarkana. He was also a member of the Twice Taken Band, which was honored as “Battle of the Bands” champions for several years in the Texarkana area.

Above all, Michael was a father who loved his three daughters, Samantha, MacKenzie, and Rylee. His children were an important part of his life, and the memories they shared with him will forever hold a special place in their hearts. Michael’s fun-loving personality, love of music, and adventurous spirit made him who he was, and those who knew him will remember him for the joy and laughter he brought into their lives.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving parents, David and Merrie Rivers; his three daughters, Samantha Rivers, McKenzie Rivers, and Kylee Rivers; the mother of his children, Rachel Rivers; his sister, Christie Sperry, of Texarkana, Arkansas; and his brother, Denson Rivers, of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and brother-in-law, Josh Ellis. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time.
