Michael Aaron McDonald, 57, of Texarkana, Texas, passed away on January 26, 2025.

He was born on November 9, 1967, to Linda and Doug Knapps.

Mr. McDonald was a DJ for over 30 years and had a profound love of music. He was musically inclined, playing any instrument you could imagine. He was of Christian faith. He loved to fish in his free time and was an avid monopoly player. Aaron loved to tell stories and never met a stranger. He was all around a great guy.

He is preceded in death by one sister, Michelle Knapps.

He is survived by his parents; one brother, Donny Horton, and wife Julie; two children, Michael McDonald of New Boston, TX, and Makayla McDonald of Teague, TX; two stepchildren, Lindsey Nottingham of Genoa, AR, and Lauren Killett of Texarkana, TX; and numerous close friends and family.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM at South Texarkana Baptist Church 409 S. Stateline Ave, Texarkana, AR 71854, officiated by Bro. Dennis Braddock and Bro. Oscar Rodriguez.
