Mary Margaret Stueart, 75, of Texarkana, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026. She was born on May 3, 1950. She spent her life in the community she loved.

Mary married the love of her life, Bill, shortly after high school, and they went on to spend 45 years together before his passing. She devoted her life to being the best wife, mom, and mammie. She loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and watching her grandkids play ball. Mary was known for her kindness to everyone she met.

She dedicated 34 years of service to Red River Army Depot, where she was known for her strong work ethic and the lasting friendships she formed.

She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Stueart; her parents, Haskell and Margie Wright; her sister, Patricia Powers; and her brother, Haskell Wright Jr.

She is survived by her three daughters, Stacie Stueart Crossland  and her husband Danny, Stefanie Stueart Buck and her husband, Brian, Megan Stueart Strickland and her husband, Jay; seven grandchildren, Kevin Buck and his wife Carleigh, Samantha Calhoun, Caleb Calhoun, Ryker Stinson, Wyatt Stinson, Kara Strickland, and Katie Strickland; two great grandchildren, Grayson and Kohen; one sister in law, Joann Galloway; and a number of other relatives.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Hillcrest Memorial Park under the direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home.
