Mary Jane King Eads

May 6, 1947 – June 5, 2026

Mary Jane King Eads, of Texarkana, Texas, was born on May 6, 1947, to Courtney Kenneth King and Mary Ruth Henry King. She passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family.

Mary Jane was a lifelong resident of Texarkana and graduated from Liberty-Eylau High School in 1965. She enjoyed spending time outdoors camping, attending NASCAR races, and making memories with family and friends. After more than thirty years of dedicated service, she retired from the Bi-State Justice Center.

Mary Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Courtney Kenneth King and Mary Ruth Henry King; her sister, Judy Tullos; and her beloved granddaughter, Miranda Streed.

She leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory: daughters, Jeri Streed and husband Clay, and Sheri Cook; son, Steve Cook and wife Misty; grandchildren, Miriam, Rosalyn, Brandi, Lauren, Chase, Joshua, and Teagan; numerous great grand and great great grand children; along with many extended family members and friends whose lives she touched throughout the years.

Mary Jane will be remembered for her strength, her love of family, and the countless memories she created with those she loved. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
