LaQuita Barth, 79, of Texarkana, TX, passed away on June 23, 2026, at her home surrounded by family.

LaQuita Faye Barth was born on December 13, 1946, to Byron Alvin and Juanita Faye Reed in Texarkana, AR.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Kerry Parker, grandson Nathan Parker, brother Jay Beal, and sister Madie Deaton.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dennis (Denny) Barth, sons: Michael Lee Parker and wife Laura of Vivian, LA, David Alan Parker of Doddridge, AR, sisters: Belinda Smart and husband Roy of Doddridge, AR, Darlla Anderson and husband James of Maud, TX, Norma Dupree of Doddridge, AR, Nova Thomas of Ida, LA, Donna Phipps and husband Ray of Longview, TX, Judy Small and husband Roy of Rodessa, LA; brother Byron Reed and wife Kim of Marshall, TX, sister-in-law Val Beal of Cleburne, TX; brother-in-law Terry Barth of Atlanta, TX; stepdaughter Amy Barth-Morales and husband Carlos of Manchaca, TX, stepson Matthew Barth and wife Christi of Cedar Park, ТX, 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

LaQuita was a retired educator, a school bus driver, and was certified as a Texas Master Gardener and a member of the Cass Master Gardeners. She loved all flowers, especially roses, working in her garden, watching her birds, and decorating her home. She was an excellent cook who took pride in providing delicious meals for her family and friends.

Services will be held at 10:30 AM at Texarkana Funeral Home, 3515 Texas Blvd, Texarkana, TX on Saturday June 27, 2026. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Texarkana Funeral Home, Texarkana, TX on Friday, June 26, 2026. Interment will be at Macedonia Cemetery, Hwy 237, Doddridge, AR.
