Kim Leigh Jones, age 56, of Texarkana, Texas, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025, at her home. She was born on January 26, 1969, in Lufkin, Texas, to Richard and Judith Plunk.

In her free time, she enjoyed playing games on her phone, taking naps, family get-togethers and enjoying her grandson and kids. Her family described her as a funny, outgoing, and loving person.

She was a wonderful and loving daughter, wife, mother, Mimi, sister, aunt, and friend.

She was preceded in death by Richard Plunk (father), Gary Plunk (brother), Bennie Evans (family friend) and many other family members and friends.

Left to cherish her memory are her two loving daughters Tiffany and Felica, her husband Eric Richards, her mother Judith Plunk, two brothers Rickey and Jamey Plunk, four sisters Lori Armour, Shannon Wood-Gronki, Natasha Wood, and Racheal Dixon, father Lonnie Earl Wood, step-mother Patricia Wood, grandson Jackson Ferguson and many other loving family members and friends.

Graveside service will be at Rock Creek Cemetery, Maud, Texas- Monday, April 28th at 2 pm.
