Kaye Duane Crowe, age 80, of Texarkana, Texas, passed peacefully surrounded by her family on April 21, 2026. She was born on August 12, 1945, in Bonham, Texas, to Harlan and Mary "Sue" Smith, who preceded her in death, along with her brother, Ronald Smith.

Kaye's life was deeply rooted in her love for her husband, Paul Crowe, to whom she was married for 41 years until his passing in 2020. The loss of the love of her life profoundly shaped the years that followed. Their bond was the cornerstone of her life, and her family finds comfort in knowing they are now reunited in heaven, holding close the promise found in John 11:25–26: "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die."

Kaye is survived by her sister, Cheryl MacKenzie (Sandy) of Lubbock, Texas; her children: Steve Crowe (Debi) of Plano, Texas, Scott Crowe (Sally) of Plano, Texas, Paula Cook (Bill) of Texarkana, Kim Baggett (Randall) of Hooks, Texas, and Craig Peters (Amy) of Frisco, Texas; her grandchildren: Kaylie Owens (David), Kristen Lewis (Stephen), Cate Howard (Cameron), Caleb Crowe, Jackson Peters, Abby Baggett, Eli Baggett, Hadley Peters, Channing Peters, and Bennett Peters; her great-grandchildren: Matthew Owens, Chyanne Owens, Landon Owens, Jacob Owens, Ava Owens, and Marie Lewis; and many beloved granddogs who will forever miss their daily turkey handouts and fully expects someone to keep the routine going.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of Texarkana where Kaye made the decision to spend her transition period and received the most compassionate care.

A private graveside service will be held for family.
