John Allen Blundell, age 75, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at his residence in Texarkana, TX. He was born on March 22, 1951, to his parents, John and Lorraine Blundell. He was a retired salesman and loved all forms of racing, whether it was drag racing with family or watching Nascar. He also built cars in his free time.

He was preceded in death by his parents John and Lorraine Blundell; son, James Blundell; and brother, Monte Blundell.

He is survived by his stepson, Stacy Cunningham and his wife; two sisters, Sharon Blundell and Debra Matthews; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A time of visitation will be held on Monday, April 20, 2026, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM in the chapel of Chapelwood Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 PM. Burial will be at a later date.
