Jerry Franklin Culp, age 86, of Texarkana, Texas, passed away on February 9, 2025. He was born on March 7, 1938, in Redwater, Texas, to James William Culp and Lillian Ruth Presley Culp.

Preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Bill Culp and wife, Shirley Culp.  Survived by his sister, Kay Neal and husband, Phillip Neal.

Jerry was a devoted father to his son, Jon Culp, and his daughter, Ginger Henderson and her husband, Brad Henderson. He was also a proud grandfather to Kelsey Harvey and her husband, Zachary Harvey, and cherished the arrival of his great-grandson, Declan Harvey, born March 5, 2025.

A hardworking and dedicated man, Jerry spent the majority of his career as a Millwright, but he always found time to pursue his passions and cherish moments with his family and friends. Jerry's love of playing the guitar, modifying and racing cars, and restoring classic cars and equipment was a central part of his life. Over the years, he earned numerous trophies and plaques for his racing achievements and his beautifully restored cars. One of his proudest accomplishments was his meticulous restoration of a 1929 Ford Model A Truck, a project he poured his heart and soul into, bringing it to perfection.  Another of his beautifully restored 1929 Ford Model A's was sold to be in a movie in 1973.  His family has many fond memories of riding with him in the Model A, creating lasting moments of joy and togetherness.

He will be remembered for his deep love for his family, his incredible work ethic, and his unwavering passion for the things that brought him joy.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, September 29, 2025, at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
