Jennifer Nicole "Whistle" Stanley, an adored daughter, mother, partner, sister, cousin, and friend to many, passed away at age 44 following an eight-year battle with cancer on May 13th, 2026 at St. Michael's Hospital in Texarkana, Texas.

Jennifer was born on June 30, 1981, in Magnolia, Arkansas. She spent her early life in the neighboring town of Lewisville, where she grew up playing Barbies, swimming in her Aunt Ruth's pool, and adopting critters of all sorts. Later, she moved with her family to Texarkana, and, after attending several different schools, graduated from Arkansas High in 1999.

Wherever she went, she was considered by those around her as bright, funny, fashionable, and–most importantly–kind. She was known as Momma to her Maddy, Chicky to her B, Jenny to her family, Whistle to her closest friends, and Gigi to the little ones. Regardless of what she went by, this much was clear: Jennifer was many things to many people–and she fulfilled these roles not only dutifully, but fabulously. Above all else, she considered her most esteemed achievement as being a mother and homemaker. She was a lover of Jesus, a listener of the blues, a reader of Jane Austen, a watcher of reality TV, a baker of sweets, a champion for others, and the creator of some of the most magical moments you could ever imagine. She was loved fiercely.

Jennifer is preceded in death by her brother, Joshua Whistle; her maternal grandfather, Elton Marlar; her maternal grandmother, Nina Faye Marlar; her paternal grandmother, Ann Whistle; and her mother, Lewis Whistle. She is survived by her daughter, Madison Stanley; her lifelong partner, Brandon Brown; her father and stepmother, Jerry and Jeanne Whistle; and stepsiblings Katie, Kevin, and Keith, along with many close cousins, extended family, and dear friends.

Visitation will be held at Texarkana Funeral Home on the Arkansas side from 2-4 P.M. on Sunday, May 17th. Her life will be celebrated the following day, May 18th, 2026, at 11 A.M with Rev. Phil McLarty officiating, followed by a burial at Wilson Family Cemetery in Lewisville, Arkansas. All she knew and loved are welcome.
