Jay Judd "Judd" Wommack Jr., age 37, passed away on April 14, 2026.

Born on November 20, 1988, Judd was the beloved son of Jay Judd Wommack and Mary McDonald Wommack. He grew up in Texarkana and attended St. James Day School and Texas High School before continuing his education at the University of North Texas.

Judd built a life marked by creativity, curiosity, and connection. He lived in Denver, Colorado, and Dallas, Texas, before returning home to Texarkana. He served as Sales Manager for Vertical Alliance Group, where he was respected for his ability to communicate, lead, and genuinely connect with people.

Judd was a gifted writer, an avid reader, and a lover of music and film. He loved playing the guitar and had a creative spirit that showed up in everything he did. He also had a great sense of humor and brought laughter to those around him. Around children, that creativity came alive—he had a remarkable ability to tell stories, spark imagination, and turn ordinary moments into something unforgettable. When playing with his son and nephews, he was often the biggest kid of them all.

He is survived by his wife, Rebekah Lynn Howard Wommack, and his son, Max Wommack, whom he loved deeply and wholeheartedly.

He is also survived by his twin sister, Lydia Wommack of Texarkana, Texas; his older sister, Margaret Maldonado of The Dalles, Oregon; his mother-in-law, Dawn Adams; his father-in-law, Jason Howard; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Goldie and Devin Audiffred; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Pat and Traci Ivey; his aunt Ann McDonald of Atlanta, Georgia; his aunt Cille McDonald and uncle Mike McDonald of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; his uncle Tripp Wommack and aunt Stacie Wommack of Midland, Texas; and his aunt Lydia Barton and uncle Tom Barton of Austin, Texas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, H.H. Tut Wommack Jr. and Darlene M. Wommack; Ernest Duncan McDonald and Mitzi White McDonald Greenwood; and Bill Greenwood.

Judd will be remembered for his patience, his kindness, and the way he made people feel seen and valued. The words "love is patient, love is kind" reflect not just what he believed, but how he lived. His presence, his creativity, and his love for family will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A visitation will be held at Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas Boulevard, on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. James Day School in Texarkana, Texas, in honor of Judd
