Jared Michael Furlow, age 34, of Nash, Texas, passed away on April 19, 2026. He was born on April 25, 1991, in Texarkana, Texas, to Keith and Shelley Furlow.

Jared will be remembered as a kind and soft-spoken man with a deep love for reading and music. He was incredibly funny and had a giving heart and a gentle soul. He enjoyed everything from loud rock—especially AC/DC—to country music, and he had a strong love for Frank Sinatra. He had a passion for MMA (mixed martial arts) and was both a champion Jujitsu wrestler and a Golden Gloves boxer. He was an extremely intelligent man who applied this to game coding, playing video games, working on and riding motorcycles, building computers from scratch, and loving on his "pups".

He was a dedicated employee for the United Parcel Service in Texarkana, Arkansas, for 12 years.

Jared shared a special and unbreakable bond with his sister, Lacie, who was also his best friend. She never called him by his first name—only "Brother," a name that reflected their closeness.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Julian Barkman; grandfather, Bill Hall; grandmother Zandra Rathburn; his cousin and best friend, Nick Thompson; his cousin Carey Griggs; and his beloved furry companion, Blazer.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving parents, Keith and Shelley Furlow; his sister, Lacie Fischer and her husband Michael of DeQueen, Arkansas; his grandparents, Reggie Rathburn of Texarkana, Arkansas and Mary Hall of Texarkana, Texas, and Harvey and DeeAnna Furlow of Texarkana, Arkansas and a special uncle, Glen Furlow and uncles: Kevin and Nikki Furlow of Texarkana, Arkansas, Chris and Stephanie Rathburn, and Trey and Heather Hall of Texarkana, Texas; his precious dog, Elliot; his special friend Emily Price and her son, Gage Vinci; cousins: Haley Furlow Smith, Shelby Jeanne Furlow, K.J. Furlow, Holli Rathburn, Allanah Hall, Hadleigh Hall, Landon Hall, Gina Furlow Graves, Christopher Thompson, Kristen Thompson and many other beloved cousins and family members.

Funeral service will be on Friday, April 24, 2026, at 11 AM at Texarkana Arkansas Funeral Home, with visitation thirty minutes prior in the Chapel. Robby Watson will be officiating. Burial will take place at Shiloh Cemetery following the service.

Family will receive friends at 81 Sugar Ridge Lane, Texarkana, Arkansas, following the graveside service.
