Halton "Bo Jack" Jones, age 82, of Fouke, AR, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026, at Christus St. Michael Hospital due to complications from recent surgeries.

Bo Jack was born on September 27, 1943, in the Jonesville community to his parents, Thadeus and Alice Jones, and was a lifetime resident of Miller County. He was a devoted member of Jonesville Pentecostal Church.

He was an expressive storyteller, loud talker, and good-natured jokester. He had a way of talking that drew you in and kept you there. He made friends everywhere he went. He enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with his family.

He lived life on his terms, always staying true to himself. He treated everyone with kindness. When someone needed help, he was the first person to step up. He didn't take life too seriously. He laughed a lot. He made people laugh a lot, and he'll be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers, Harold Jones, Horace Jones, Halbert Jones, Hubert Jones, Hollis "Doc" Jones, Wayne Jones and Harmie Jones; and two sisters, Margaret Jones and Seleta Sims.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Sharon Jones of Fouke, AR; his son, Chris Jones of Fouke, AR; daughter, Tammy Oliver and husband Chris of Fouke, AR; grandchildren, Samantha Jones and husband Gideon of Eureka Springs, AR, Logan Oliver of Fouke, AR, and Callie Oliver of Fouke, AR; brother, Lonnie Jones and wife Karen of Fouke, AR; sister, Carrie Huff and husband Sunny of Ida, LA; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 23, 2026, in the chapel of Texarkana Funeral Home – Arkansas with Rodney Elliott and David Dean officiating.

The family will receive friends the evening prior, Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.

Burial will be at Concord Cemetery.
