Gloria Lockett, 88, of Shreveport, Louisiana, formerly of Texarkana, Texas went to Heaven on June 8, 2026.

She was born on October 23, 1937 in Curtis, Arkansas to Clyde and Thelma Wingfield.

Gloria was a wonderful Friend and Mother. She took care of everyone and could talk to anyone and make them feel loved and cared for. She loved to cook, dance and sing when she was able. She worked most of her life as an insurance sales person and was very good at it. She was a caregiver to all and loved Jesus, friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Clyde and Thelma Wingfield; brother Clyde J. Wingfield and two husbands, Gene Wright and Paul Lockett.

She is survived by her children: Pam Greenway, Beth McDonald, Kay Caballero and Mike Mathews and her brother Jewel (Jay) Wingfield; nine grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Sunday June 14, 2026 at Chapelwood Funeral Home Chapel with Charles Teer officiating. Private burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery
