Dustin "Dusty" Wayne Roach, age 40, passed away on May 6, 2026. He was born on August 18, 1985, in Texarkana, Texas, to Linda Sue Wells Terry and Johnny Lee Roach.

Dusty was a dedicated employee of Tyson Foods, where he worked in the maintenance department and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those around him. He also served his country honorably in the United States Navy. His courage, loyalty, and acts of heroism will never be forgotten by those who knew and loved him.

He will be remembered as a selfless and heroic man who never hesitated to help others, even when it meant sacrificing for himself. Dusty loved hunting, fishing, spending time at the lake, and carrying on the traditions of his beloved Granny by baking her famous chocolate, apple, and coconut pies.

Above all, Dusty was a loving and devoted father to his precious daughter, Brynleigh Michelle Roach. The bond they shared was truly special and unbreakable.

Dusty was a member of Central Baptist Church in Ashdown, Arkansas, and attended Circle J Cowboy Church in Texarkana.

He was preceded in death by his PaPaw, Charles Wells.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Linda Terry and her partner, Jerry Dobson, of Ogden, Arkansas; his father, Johnny Roach and wife Gundla of Texarkana, Arkansas; his grandmother, Carolyn Wells of Texarkana, Texas; his twin sister, Mindy Choate and husband Mark of Texarkana, Arkansas; and his five brothers: Brandon Roach and wife Amy of Texarkana, Arkansas; Brant Fowler and wife Maryssa of Texarkana, Texas; Blake Fowler and wife Sarah of Texarkana, Texas; Josh Roach and wife Quincy of Pittsburg, Texas; and Shane Roach of Texarkana, Arkansas; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

A woman is alive today because of Dusty's heroic courage, selfless sacrifice, and deep compassion for others. Not only is she alive today, but she was also able to give life and have a family of her own. He risked his own life to save a complete stranger — an extraordinary act of bravery and love that will never be forgotten.

A memorial service will be held at Circle J Cowboy Church on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 1 PM with Rev Todd Hervey officiating. Visitation will be held one hour before the memorial service.
