Donald Eugene Walker Jr., 64, of Texarkana, Texas, passed away on April 4, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on May 28, 1961, in Moses Lake, Washington, to Jeannette Pfeiffer Walker and Donald Eugene Walker Sr.

Donald was a man who found joy in the simple, meaningful things in life. Whether he was watching airplanes take off and land, chasing trains, or carefully building intricate LEGO sets, he approached everything with curiosity and enthusiasm. As an independent videographer, he had a creative eye and a passion for capturing moments that mattered.

More than anything, Donald had a heart for people. He believed in helping others whenever he could, never hesitating to lend a hand to someone in need. During his time in Atlanta, Georgia, he worked with the homeless, offering not just help, but compassion and dignity. That kindness followed him everywhere—he was the kind of person who quietly made the world a better place.

Donald proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army, carrying that same sense of duty and care into his everyday life.

To his family, he was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a steady, caring presence. For 38 years, he shared deep and lasting love with his wife, Candy. He was proud of his children and treasured the life they built together. He was known for his gentle nature, his giving spirit, and his unwavering faith in his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeannette and Donald Walker Sr., and his grandparents.

He leaves behind a legacy of love in his wife, Winifred "Candy" Walker; his sons, Christopher and Michael Walker; his daughter, Lynn Walker; his bonus children, Kai and Louis Boyce. He is also survived by his stepmother, Judy Walker; his siblings, Barbara Baker, Susan Rozmiarek, and Stephen Walker; his sisters-in-law, Grace Baker and Roxie Phillips; his brothers-in-law, Clint Woody and Don Woody; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

A Celebration of Life on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Heritage Church, 5801 N. Kings Hwy., Texarkana, TX 75503  at 10:00 am.
