Debbie Johnson, age 73 of Fouke, AR, passed away on May 1, 2026, in Texarkana, TX, at the Hospice of Texarkana Care Center. She was born on June 10, 1952, to Janeice and Robert Lindsey in Texarkana, AR. She retired from Flowers Bakery and volunteered with CASA for several years. Debbie enjoyed reading, going to the boats, playing Bingo with Pat, Darlene, and Rita, and going on adventures with Pat, Darlene, and Julie. She also enjoyed cooking and made the best cornbread you ever tasted. Some of her family's favorites were her Thanksgiving dressing, her potato salad, and banana pudding. Debbie's favorite thing was time spent with family. Her family would describe her as a sassy, strong-spirited woman who was mischievous at times. If she loved you, she would always give you a hard time, and oh, did she love her family well! Debbie was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Tina Becker. Left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband and lifelong companion, D.A. Johnson, her beloved sons, Danny (Amber) Johnson and Joe (Jessica) Johnson, her grandson, Asher, her sister, Patricia (John) Pulley, her Aunt Darlene Sewell, who was more of a sister, and many other dear relatives who will forever hold onto the precious memories they shared. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff for their care at Saint Michael Hospital. They would also like to thank the amazing staff of Hospice of Texarkana for ensuring Debbie's comfort in her final days. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial donations to be made to Hospice of Texarkana Care Center, 2407 Galleria Oaks Dr., Texarkana, TX. Visitation will be held Monday, May 4, 2026, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Texarkana Funeral Home, AR. Memorial service will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Texarkana Funeral Home Chapel – AR location with Brother Lee Larey officiating. A private family graveside service will follow.
