Chester "Chet" Moore, age 91, of Texarkana, Texas, passed away on June 29, 2025.

Chet was born on December 29, 1933, in Texarkana to Minnie and Henry Moore. A lifelong resident of the area, he dedicated his working life to serving others as an appliance technician. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and, most of all, spending time with his beloved family.

Chet proudly served his country in the United States Navy, the United States Air Force, and during the Vietnam War. Known by his loved ones as a good man—honorable, dependable, and deeply respected—he left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Minnie and Henry Moore; his beloved wife of 65 years, Lois Moore; his son, Jon Moore; and his brothers, Wayne, Bob, and Ray Moore.

Chet is survived by his sons: Tom Eager, James Eager, and Gary Moore; his siblings: Howard Moore, James Moore, Margaret Cornelius, and Leona Morgason; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will continue to carry his memory forward.

He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
