Betty Ann Reel

Betty Ann Reel, 80, of Texarkana passed away on September 23, 2026. She was born July 13, 1946, to Richard and Mary Barylski in St. Louis, MO.

Betty was a Christian woman who was a loving Wife, Mother, Sister, Mawmaw, Beppy, Bep and Aunt. The wind beneath our wings.

She recently retired from Hallmark, where she was known as “The Card Lady.”

Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Michael David Reel, Sr, two brothers, one sister, and her great-grandchildren, Ashton and Scarlet Roberts.

She is survived by her children, Lesia (Ken) Smith, Donna Polius, Michele Bennett, Michael D. Reel, all of Texarkana, Texas. Her sister, Mary (Randy) Rogers and family of Rowlett, Texas. Her grandchildren, Kaleb and Karissa Smith; Sabastian Polius; Wesley, Brandon, Royce and Justin Bennett; Emme, Elle and David Reel, and BreeBree (Jake) Weathers. Also survived by five great-grandchildren and one on the way, along with numerous other family members, friends and co-workers.

Will always be loved by many and missed by all.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 4, 2026 at 3:00 P.M. at Chapelwood Funeral Home in Nash, Texas.
