Biography

Mrs. Anna Rose Henderson Lance, age 85, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Thursday, June 14, 2012, at her residence.

Mrs. Lance was born September 24, 1926, in Watson, Illinois, and had lived in Texarkana since 2007. She was a retired nursing home CNA and Cafeteria worker and was preceded in death by her husband, Alvie C. Lance, and two sons, Daniel Mark Lance and Jerry Henderson.

Survivors include four daughters, Carol Lance of Galesburg, Illinois, Katherine Sue Loachridge of Batesville, Arkansas, Julia Gale Christian of Texarkana, Arkansas, and Laurie Lee Lance Gratzinger of Texarkana, Arkansas, three sons, Bobby Lance of Champaign, Illinois, Danny Lance and Don Lance of Ashdown, Arkansas, twenty grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday at the Texarkana Funeral Home Arkansas Chapel. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 PM until 8 PM Saturday.
