Life Legacy
NEW BOSTON, TEXAS- Geneva Pauline Park, age 91 of Simms, Texas passed away Sunday, May 24, 2009 in a Texarkana Nursing Facility. Mrs. Park was born August 31, 1917 in Simms, Texas. She was a member of Sand Hill Baptist Church, a Library Assistant, a member of the ?Green Thumb? Program, a former member of the Bowie County Home Demonstration Club and is preceded in death by her husband R.B. Park and five brothers. Survivors include three sons and two daughters in law, Earl Joe Baker of Texarkana, Texas, Bill and Marilyn Baker of Ft. Worth, Texas, Marty and Patty Park of Texarkana, Texas, one daughter and son in law, Paula and Larry Raney of Austin, Texas, one sister in law, Hazel Tidwell of Simms, Texas, 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and a number of other relatives and friends Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at Sand Hill Cemetery, Simms, with Bro. James Brinkley officiating. Interment will be in Sand Hill Cemetery under the direction of Bates-Rolf New Boston. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at the funeral home.
