Mark Ray Palmer, 50, of Texarkana, TX, died Tuesday, November 15, 2011, at his home. He was born June 8, 1961, in Texarkana, TX. He was a member of Arabella Heights Baptist Church, retired from Cooper Tire and Rubber Company, an insurance adjuster for Cunningham Lindsey, a concealed handgun instructor, and was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Palmer.
He is survived by his wife, Sandee Palmer; two sons, Kacey Palmer of Hooks, TX, and Zachery Donaldson of Texarkana, TX; five daughters, Hillary Bartley of Little Rock, AR, Britnee Donaldson of Texarkana, AR, Sagan Donaldson, Kambree Pope, and Gabrielle Palmer, all of Texarkana, TX; four sisters, Diane Hildebrandt of Texarkana, TX, Tammy Harmon of Hooks, TX, Marty Pond of Texarkana, TX, and Jana Fryar of Dallas, TX; his parents, Lurlynn and Wayne Hickerson of Texarkana; 11 grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, November 18, 2011, at Texarkana Funeral Home Chapel, Texas, with the Rev. Gerald Wagstaff officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. on Thursday, November 17, 2011, at Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas.
