Life Legacy
MELTON PALMER Melton Thomas Palmer, age 88, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Wednesday, March 19, 2008, in a local hospital. Mr. Palmer was born April 1, 1919, at Fouke, Arkansas, and had lived in Texarkana most of his life. He was a member of Beech Street First Baptist Church and was retired owner of Palmer Electric. Survivors include his wife, Lorene Palmer of Texarkana, Arkansas, four nieces, Mary Virginia Bickham of Texarkana, Arkansas, Nancy Jean Sangalli Woody of Queen City, Texas, Henrietta Farmer of New Braunfels, Texas, and Ernestine Berry Russell of Little Rock, Arkansas, and a number of great nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A. M. Friday at the Texarkana Funeral Home Arkansas Chapel with Rev. Craig Jenkins officiating. Burial will be at East Memorial Gardens. THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS AT THE FUNERAL HOME FROM 6 PM UNTIL 7:30 PM THURSDAY.
