Life Legacy
Martha S. Pace, 82, of Texarkana, TX, died Thursday, December 25, 2008, in a local hospital. She was born January 27, 1926, in Greenville, SC. She was a homemaker and past owner of Pace and Sons, Inc., and was a member of First Baptist Church, Texarkana, TX, where she was a member of the Intercessory Prayer Group. She was also an auxiliary member of the Gideons International. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank W. Pace, on February 25, 1996. She is survived by three sons and one daughter-in-law, Frank Ronald and Mary D. Pace of Wake Village, TX, and Joel Steve Pace and Perry W. Pace, both of Texarkana; two sisters, Mary Phillips of Greenville, SC, and Ruth Ranstad of Zephyrhills, FL; one brother, B.M. Sanders of Greenville, SC; 2 grandchildren, Mary Martha Smith and Payton D. Donnelly, and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be held 10 am Monday, December 29, 2008, at Texarkana Funeral Home Chapel, Texas, with Rev. Wallace Edgar officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4-5:30 pm Sunday, December 28, 2008, at Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas. Memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International.
