DeKalb, Texas ? Martha ?Jean? Hicks Jaggers, 83, of DeKalb, Texas passed away Sunday, June 29, 2008 in a local nursing facility. Mrs. Jaggers was born February 20, 1925 in Bryan, Texas. She retired from DeKalb ISD, was a member of the DeKalb Church of Christ and is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Coy Jaggers. Our beloved ?Memaw? will be missed by her survivors, including two sons and daughters in law, Ronnie and Sheryl Jaggers of Crandall, Texas, Jimmy and Dana Jaggers of Redwater, Texas, two sisters and one brother in law, Betty and Jody Valerian of Bryan, Texas, Jo Huff of Houston, Texas, one sister in law, Betty Hicks of Bryan, Texas, one brother in law, Earl White of Bryan, Texas, five grandchildren, Julie and Ben Odell of Royce City, Texas, Allison and Tim Dickey of Forney, Texas, Jeff Jaggers of Crandall, Texas, Ashley and Landon Jaggers of Redwater, Texas, five great grandchildren, Whitney, Leslynn, Steven and Hannah Odell of Royce City, Texas, Madyson Dickey of Forney, Texas, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 3, 2008 at the DeKalb Church of Christ with Bro. Michael Gilbert and Bro. Billy Blakney officiating. Interment will be in Woodmen Cemetery, DeKalb under the direction of Bates-Rolf Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at the funeral home.
