Life Legacy
DeKalb, Texas ? Jimmy Wayne Jaggers, age 48 of Redwater, Texas passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2009 in a Texarkana Hospital. Jimmy was born November 4, 1960 in Bryan, Texas to Coy Ray and Martha ?Jean? Hicks Jaggers and graduated from DeKalb High School in 1979. He attended Texas A&M at Commerce where he received his degree in Agriculture Education and was employed with Bowie County as an Adult Probation Officer . He is preceded in death by his parents, and will be greatly missed by his survivors including his loving wife of 22 years, Dana Kimberly ?Pirkey? Jaggers, one daughter, Ashley and one son Landon all of Redwater, Texas, One brother and sister in law, Ronnie and Sheryl Jaggers of Seagoville, Texas, his father and mother in law, Bobby and JoAnn Pirkey of Lydia, Texas, a host of nieces, nephews and numerous friends that will always remember Jimmy for his wit and laughter and the love he had for his family. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 28, 2009 at the Church of Christ, DeKalb with Bro. Billy Blakeney officiating. Pallbearers will include Dwight Wood, Jr, Mike Mahone, Mike Davis, Tommy Batchelor, Curtis Hutchinson and Doug Vick. Interment will be in Woodmen Cemetery, DeKalb under the direction of Bates Rolf Funeral Home DeKalb, Texas. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 27, 2009 at the funeral home.
