Life Legacy
James Earl Jaggers, age 73, of Maud, Texas, died Monday, February 5, 2007 at his residence. Mr. Jaggers was born September 21, 1933 in Redwater, Texas. He was retired from Cooper Tire, member of the Maud Church of Christ and a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Jaggers was preceded in death by his first wife, Allene Jaggers. Survivors include his wife, Stacy Jaggers of Maud, Texas; one son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Ann Jaggers of Maud, Texas; one daughter, Kelly Graham of Maud, Texas; one sister, Dorothy Hubbard of Apache Junction, Arizona; two step children, Melissa Arnold of Texarkana, Texas and Jeremy Wheeler of Conway, Arkansas; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Maud Church of Christ with Dan Fredman and Jay Launius officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park under the direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening at the funeral home from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M. Memorials can be made to the Library Fund at the Maud Church of Christ. The family will be at their residence in Maud, Texas.
