Officer William Jason Sprague, age 30, of Texarkana, Texas died June 15, 2013, in a local hospital.
Officer Sprague was born November 30, 1982, in Idabel, Oklahoma. He was a Texarkana, Texas Police officer.
He is survived by his wife Stephanie Sprague of Texarkana, Texas; one son Caden Sprague of Texarkana, Texas; his father William “Chipper” Sprague of Florida; step- mother Monica Sprague of Shreveport, Louisiana; his mother and step-father Marsa and Michael Green of Hot Springs, Arkansas; two brothers Kyle Sprague of Shreveport, Louisiana, and Justin Sprague Hot Springs, Arkansas; two sisters Madison Sprague of Shreveport, Louisiana and Ashley Sprague of Hot Springs, Arkansas; two step-brothers Brock Green of Springdale, Arkansas and Jared Green of Phoenix, Arizona; his grandparents William and Jean Sprague of Florida; and Cecil and Jeannie Jameson of Idabel, Oklahoma; his father-in-law and mother-in-law Michael and Karen Anderson of Malvern, Arkansas; a brother-in-law Shane Anderson and fiancé Paige Davis of Malvern, Arkansas and a number of other relatives.
Services with police honors will be 10 A.M. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Texarkana with Kevin Shutte officiating. Graveside services will be 2 P.M. Wednesday at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Malvern, Arkansas.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at First Baptist Church, Texarkana.
